April 10, 2009 - Still groggy from the vet's visit. Poor Chucky. This morning he jumped on the bed and, very quietly, leaned agains my back. The sheets got all bloody, and upon inspection, there was blood all over the place. With some tissue and some pressure I managed to stop the bleeding - a cut in his paw, I don't know from where.
After half an hour there was blood all over the kitchen floor. Time to go to the vet. Stitches between his toes.
And now he has a collar and a taped-in foot and I have to make sure it stays on him for the next 10 days. He tries to get rid of both by walking backwards in circles.
His sister thinks it's all very exciting and jumps on him all the time.
